By gracefully blending traditional and modern design elements, the 15,000-square-foot, largely limestone addition to Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral Founders' Hall, Kansas City, Mo., won the unanimous admiration of Masonry Construction's Top Masonry Project judges. Consisting of an indoor social hall and a courtyard, the Founders' Hall fits in with the existing buildings on the Cathedral's campus, while very clean lines and contemporary geometry reflect the congregation's commitment to the future and its role in the modern urban context of Kansas City.
