Simpson Strong-Tie recently launched its repair, protection and strengthening systems for concrete and masonry – a complementary product line to its anchor systems offering. With the new concrete repair products and full line of mechanical anchors, adhesives, powder-actuated and gas tools, and drill bits, Simpson Strong-Tie now offers customers many innovative solutions for the masonry industry.
The repair, protection and strengthening systems line includes a wide variety of new products, including repair mortars, coatings, grouts, epoxies, sealants and the FX-70® structural repair and protection system. The new Repair, Protection and Strengthening Systems for Concrete and Masonry product guide features all of the new products and is available at www.strongtie.com/rps.
In late 2011, Simpson Strong-Tie acquired Fox Industries, a concrete repair manufacturer based in Baltimore, Md. One of the primary benefits of purchasing Fox was its long history of developing and formulating concrete and masonry repair products. Since purchasing Fox, Simpson Strong-Tie has added its engineering and testing capabilities to the product line as well as its national training and field support, and has expanded distribution throughout North America.
“Simpson Strong-Tie has been creating innovative products for concrete and masonry construction for more than 15 years. Our new line of repair, protection and strengthening systems broadens our presence in the industry and more importantly, will help our customers solve many of their repair and restoration challenges. Our team of ‘RPS’ specialists and field engineers are ready and prepared to work with customers,” said Bill Georges, vice president of Infrastructure, Commercial & Industrial – North America.
