Landmark Revival

Before the restoration: When the Chinese Community Church moved to its new location, the historic building hardly resembled its original design. A layer of stucco Formstone hid the red brick façade, and a metallic dome had replaced the steeple.

Masons repaired a decorative brownstone band by removing loose stone with chipping guns, inserting stainless steel pins, and using Jahn stone patching mortar to match the original stone profile.
