The Hanley Wood Project Gallery collects lets you view the design articles published online on our magazine Web sites. You can search by location, type of project, original publication, or personnel involved in the project, with the results displayed and linked to the original articles.
You have three search options:
Search by Name: Enter the name of a builder, remodeler, architect, or developer and hit the "Search" button to see all design projects in the database related to that person or firm.
Search by Community: Enter the name of a project or development and hit the "Search" button to see all available design articles about that project or development.
Search by Category List: Choose the options in the Category List area to refine your search, category by category. Hitting the "Search" button displays the projects that match your search criteria.
Choose "Region, State & City" to search by geographical area. Checking the box by a region displays states in that region. Checking a state displays all the cities for projects in our Project Gallery. The more boxes you check, the more specific your search results will be.
Choose "Magazine, Section, & Awards" to locate projects from a specific magazine, section of that magazine, or award-winners in design contests from that magazine.
Choose "Type of Building Project" or "Type of Remodeling Project" to narrow your search to one or more project types: single-family, whole-house remodel, etc.
As you refine your search, certain options may be "greyed out." This prevents you from choosing refinements that aren't applicable based on your current search criteria. Also, when you see your displayed search results, the lack of a thumbnail image on some of your search results indicates that the article is text-only -- i.e., without images.
Want to know what you'll get BEFORE you hit the "Search" button? The Selected Criteria field next to "Category List" gives you a running tally of the search criteria you've chosen, and the number of projects that match your criteria.
