MASONRY CONSTRUCTION's 2009 Top Contractor, Western Construction Group (WCG) of St. Louis, and its subsidiaries perform repair and restoration projects across the country. In addition to the recent transformation of Old Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the following projects highlight Western's expertise.

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Indianapolis, Ind.
Working with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Arsee Engineers, Western Waterproofing restored the exterior of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. After a thorough investigation, Arsee Engineers developed a repair specification.
Western's scope of the work addressed several items:
Crack repair using epoxy injection
Cleaning of the limestone, with special emphasis paid to limestone stained by copper elements
Limestone "Dutchman" repairs
Replacement of five limestone units
Tuckpointing more than 17,000 lineal feet of joints
Painting and sealing more than 2,700 lineal feet of skyward facing mortar joints
Repairs on the Bell Tower columns
Application of 2,100 square feet of liquid applied waterproofing membrane
The church renovation project was completed in 2007.
