Rick joined The Concrete Producer in July 1996 after working for 18 years in the aggregates industry. He was named Editor of Masonry Construction in June 2001. His previous positions ranged from quarry foreman for Material Service Corporation to area manager responsible for four open pit quarries and three dredge sand and gravel operations for Rogers Group, Inc., in Bloomington, Ind.
Ron has more than 30 years experience in the trade magazine business covering the wholesaling, contracting, and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Masonry Construction in September 2001 he spent 28 years at Plant Engineering magazine serving in a variety of editorial positions and handling a wide cross section of publishing responsibilities.
Shelby became associate editor for The Concrete Producer and Masonry Construction in 2006. Her background includes nearly 10 years as a Marketing and Communications specialist for multi-national concrete and cement companies, RMC Industries and Cemex. Shelby writes the monthly GreenSite column, masonry Showcase articles, and features.
