World of Masonry/World of Concrete 2009 attendees traveling to Las Vegas will have the opportunity to see, examine, and compare the latest product offerings from more than 1600 companies serving the industry. The 35th show and conference, which is the only annual international commercial construction event for the masonry and concrete industries, will be held Feb. 2 - 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to the show portion of the event, more than 150 educational sessions geared toward improving contractor productivity and profitability will be offered.
The show floor will be open for 26 hours spread across four days, Feb. 3 - 6. The exhibit area will encompass about 900,000 sq ft in the North, South, and Central Halls and several outdoor lots.
Besides the special World of Masonry portion of World of Concrete, several pavilions will provide products and demonstrations covering specific areas: Material Handling, Concrete Repair and Demolition, Technology for Construction, and The Producer Center. A special GREENSITE area featuring technologies, products, interactive displays, and video/live demonstrations showing the economic feasibility and environmental benefits of using masonry and concrete as sustainable building products returns for a second year.
Premiering in 2009 will be the “New Product Showcase.” This special section on the show floor will feature some of the latest industry products and equipment.
