Dick Jennison has resigned as president and CEO of the Brick Industry Association after seven and a half years to "pursue other professional challenges and opportunities," the association said in a press release.

"Doubtlessly, we all have many good reasons to admire Dick's work on our industry's behalf over the past seven-plus years, as well as good memories of our times spent with him," said BIA Chairman Mike Jenkins. J. Gregg Borchelt, BIA secretary, is serving as interim CEO.

MASONRY CONSTRUCTION selected Jennison as its 2005 Industry Leader of the Year. "In the last three years, BIA board members, with Jennison's support, have transformed the BIA from a collection of strong regional producers into an effective national marketing dynamo," the article stated.
