The Scaffold & Access Industry Association Training Department (SAIA-U) has instituted measures to reduce forgery and fraudulent training cards in the field. SAIA-U cards now have a holographic pattern of a globe and the word SECURE appears in the pattern across each card’s front.
Some of the older, yet still valid, training cards do not contain these security features. Training cards issued by SAIA-U expire three years after they are issued. All training cards contain the Association name, student number, student name, certificate number, class taken, class date, expiration date, and the name and/or logo of the accredited training institute (ATI). The back of the cards show the Associations logo, SAIA U logo, and the address/contact information.
The SAIA also added a new feature to our website to prevent fraud field training cards. This new tool is a way for employers, prospective employers and OSHA to check current training levels of the student. Managers simply go to http://www.saiaonline.org/StudentSearch and enter the certificate number or student id. If the training card does not have either the certificate number student id it is not a valid card.
If there are any questions about SAIA U training cards, classes that students have taken or need to schedule a training class please contact Robin Miller at 816.595.4860 or email@example.com.
